Philanthropy
"Only a life lived for others is worth living." - Albert Einstein
Hi my name is Jessie Joyner and I am the Philanthropy Chair of ADPi! I am excited to tell you about our National Philanthropy the Ronald McDonald House, which creates, finds and supports programs that improve the health and well being of children! Our vision is to impact our community and the Ronald McDonald House Foundation through committed volunteering and involvement as a united chapter of Alpha Delta Pi that our light will shine to reflect God’s unfailing love! With all that in mind, enjoy discovering the ways that we fundraise and interact with RMH, charities and the community!
Some of our activities:
Pop Tab
Pandemonium: Involve local schools to collect Pop Tabs for
RMH.
Collected around 250 lbs!
Benefit Nights: Work with local,
community stores to raise money for RMH.
Raised around $300.00!
Booster Coupon Books: Part of
the Bruster’s Benefit Night was selling coupon books.
Raised around $800.00!
ADPi Dinner Nights: Go to visit our local RMH in Savannah once a month on a Monday Night. We make dinner for the families staying at the house and try to make it fun by using a theme. (Had Dr. Seuss and St. Patrick’s Day)
Charity Denim: sell designer jeans for 40-60% off!
